Formula One Season comes to a Cracking Finale

The final race of the Season at Shanghai proved to be a fitting end to the Best Formula One Season in many a year, with recently crowned Champion Fernando Alonso winning his seventh Race to equal that of the Flying Finn Raikonnen.

The constructors’ championship could have gone right to the last corner but for the Mercedes of Montoya having one of his all too regular excursions off the track earlier in the race.
Next Season promises to be equally enthralling if not more so with the demise of four Teams and the new replacements.
Gone are Minardi; Sauber; BAR and sadly the Jordan teams.

There are rumours circulating the Paddock that Eddy Irvine (Irve the Swerve) will buy into one of the Teams and perhaps we may see the return of the Jordan name in a year or two.

Eddy Jordan proved just how much is possible with commitment, verve and an enthusiastic team behind you. Fifteen years of toil mixed with promise, elation and of course huge disappointments; otherwise known as life! The difficulty of matching the financial resources of huge engine manufacturers proves too much for all the minnows in Formula One and invariably demise is never very far away.
We look forward to the new crop of young and skilful Drivers that are appearing on the Scene currently.
